Keep on Blogging!The folks at the First Amendment Project recently published An Environmental Advocate’s Guide to Avoiding Defamation and Other Publication Lawsuits, which provides a basic understanding of the law regarding publication liability and offers a set of best practices to help environmental advocacy organizations avoid being sued -- and to respond appropriately if they are sued.

Although this report won’t be relevant to every group with which we work, we hope you’ll share it with friends and allies who are doing advocacy work that may put them at risk.
