Importing and exporting subscribers

Go to SubscribersImport Subscribers

Browse to locate the subscriber list, saved as .csv (comma seperated values) format, and upload it. Be sure to check that the first record contains field headers if necessary.

Map all your fields. Any customized fields will appear at the bottom of the list.

Select the list into which you want your subscribers uploaded. Select plain-text as the default mail type. If you are sending both an HTML and a plain-text version, when you deploy your list as a Multi-part MIME, WhatCounts will “sniff” user accounts of opened emails and adjust this preference for HTML recipients.

If you want to view a list of all your subscribers go to SubscribersExport Subscribers. Select the List and the Segmentation (a subset of your list) you would like to export, then select the fields you need.

WhatCounts will export your subscriber list to a .csv file that is stored in the File Manager. In order to download it, go to ContentFile Manager. Right-click on the file, choose “Save Target As,” and save it to your computer. You can then open this file in Excel.
