If you have fields in your subscriber list that are not in WhatCounts, you can create customized fields for them. Only import fields that you will be useful in your mailings, such as in segmentation or as part of a mail merge.

1. Go to Segmentation → Customized Fields. Click on the link to “Add New Custom Field.”
2. Give the field a name, a type (number, text, or large text)
3. Give the field a description.

Once created, you can import subscriber data into these fields, and use them for segmentation.
